I give academic lectures and workshops both in Israeli institutions and abroad, on the subjects of identity & belonging, multiculturalism, training professionals in cultural competence and context awareness, inter-cultural therapy, education for empathy and anti-bias education.

For example:

• Families in transition: the effects of immigration on families, inter-generational relationships and cultural transferal, with the emphasis on the Ethiopian Jewish community in Israel.  

• Innovative teaching methods: training professionals from the fields of education, social work and the health professions in cultural competence and context awareness for working with diversity (cultural, gender, religious, etc.).  

• Parenting and education in cultural transition: with the emphasis on the Ethiopian Jewish community in Israel.  

• Children’s books as a means to discussing differences between people and promoting empathy (as well as anti-bias education)
